My dryer balls are made from about 98% wool. The middle core is made from left over yarns given to me by friends so it can be a mix of all kinds of stuff. The outer layers are 100% wool roving from various sheep around the State of Maine. It takes me over an hour to make three balls. My dryer balls are a little different in that most of them are not just a plain color. I love decorating my dryer balls to make them a little different. Dryer balls come in sets of three for $42. All three get cut from the string they are attached to and thrown into the dryer together. They work best as a trio, bouncing and rubbing against your clothes, they help with static electricity, lint and reduce drying time. There is no rubber or plastic so they are quieter in the dryer. There are no harsh chemicals used to create these. Instead of lasting for a few loads, they can last for many years! My dryer balls live in the dryer all the time, they only come out if they manage an escape or they get stuck in my laundry. Dryer balls can also be used as indoor toys for your kids or practice juggling balls. DRYER BALLS ARE CHOSEN BY THE ARTIST.
